Located on the east side of the county seat, the scenic area connects to National Highway 315 in the south, Kunbas Road in the west, and Jianshe East Road in the north. It was built to commemorate Zhang Qian's historic mission to the Western Regions and is now a national AAA scenic spot.

The planned land area is about 1,300 mu, including water, landscape facilities, roads, and development land. The park features historical culture, folk culture, and children's recreation areas, together with the Zhang Qian Memorial Hall, Shule History Museum, cultural center, hotel, food plaza, and themed sculptures.

More than 15,000 fruit and landscape trees have been planted in the park, with 400,000 square meters of greenery. Lotus Lake blooms attract many visitors every flowering season.
